DIY Micro Bubbler

1 Citation
I've just had the bubble bucket craze hit me upside the head, so I figured I'd make an oddball bubbler out of an old Bali Shag tin. I'll put the steps I followed down, and the pics to accompany in order in the attachments. 1. Clean out Bali Shag container and waterproof the bottom part with epoxy. 2. Drill a hole large enough to run air line, about an inch down from the top of the can. (No photo) 3. Install an airstone or make your own (I did this just by sticking air tube into a slit I ma, technorati.com

Are my clones ready for flower?

1 Citation
I got my Querkle (Purple Urkle x Space Queen) Clones from a dispensary 3 weeks ago today, I am assuming they were already at least a week old when I got them (already had roots poking out the bottom of rockwool) They are short(all between 7-9 inches) but pretty Bushy. Please take a look and let me know if you think they are good to go into flowering. Space is not really an issue, the closet I have them in is about 8 Ft. They are suposed to stay pretty short, from what I read in their cato, technorati.com

L Indole Butyric Acid & B1 in your DWC?

1 Citation
So L-Indole Butyric Acid & B1 are the common ingredients of rooting hormone. The simple combination takes the stick end of a plant and induces rooting. So what if you added it to your DWC? The whole concept is root growth, why remove the compound? Seems to me it might grow your roots at a rate of insanity. Anyone tried this?:leaf:, technorati.com

How long to change water/check my (2)plants =)

1 Citation
So I have only 2 plants in my 18 gallon tub, and I was wondering how long I can go w/o changing the water. It's kind of why I'm only growing 2 plants, because I get my water from those vending machine things that fill 5 gallon jugs (my tap is about 400ppm and 8-8.5 pH). Also, should I bump the ppm higher? I'm just super worried about nute burn again, my plants have already had a traumatic enough childhood, and with 1 each sativa/indica worried about the WW getting burned while the church t, technorati.com

Can you grow beggining to end in 4" net pots

1 Citation
Hey all; I have a DIY bubble ponics system. All is well but i started to think should i be transplanting them into 6" or 8" pots soon. Or are they fine to stay in the 4" pots. Personally i thought they would be fine in the 4" pots since all of their roots are in the reservoir below drinking in all those lovely Nutrients. Let me know your thoughts. How to Prune

1 Citation
Hey guys n gals, I have been doing some research on pruning cannabis so that I get the best yield. Here is my little DWC baby. Strain Medusa Born: 03/14/2009 I want to try and do a little pruning. Based on these pictures, can anyone offer any advice on where to actually start the pruning? Also, I want to start topping it now that it has reached about a foot tall to allow some of the lower potential tops to have a chance. Attached Images, technorati.com

Bitsy Battle: The Beginning

1 Citation
I have finally emerged victorious over the technical difficulties that plagued my ability to upload pictures. (translation: I finally got off my backside and fixed it.) Here we see the very beginning ? two stacked 5 gallon bucket lids that have been covered in aluminum duct tape for light-proofing. I?ve drilled small holes in the center of each lid, large enough to admit plant stems but small enough to prevent a jiffy starter (also shown here with the Micro Tom seedling started in it), technorati.com
