Welcome to the OpenEEG project

2 Citations
Many people are interested in what is called neurofeedback or EEG biofeedback training, a generic mental training method which makes the trainee consciously aware of the general activity in the brain. This method shows great potential for improving many mental capabilities and exploring consciousness. Other people want to do experiments with brain-computer interfaces or just want to have a look at their brain at work., blogmarks.net
The OpenEEG project is about making plans and software for do-it-yourself EEG devices available for free (as in GPL)., blogmarks.net

Babies and Rhythm

1 Citation
Scientists have used electroencephalogram (EEG) analysis on newborns to demonstrate that babies are born with rhythm. Newborns' brains responded to breaks in a rock drum rhythm, even while the babies slept. This is an interesting insight into the human love of music and may allow early recognition of brain abnormalities. (image credit: Elsa's MySpace page), technorati.com

Seizures have been an important part of my life since I was 3 ? years old. At birth, it was believe that the forceps were responsible for lesions in the brain. At the tender age of three, I fell down the stairs, hitting the top of my head three times before my dad could catch , technorati.com

Brain Blogging, Forty-Third Edition

1 Citation
Welcome to the forty-third edition of Brain Blogging. In this round, we discuss brain electrical rhythms, the efficacy of subliminal messages, the rising epidemic of ?Internet Asperger?s Syndrome,? and few more topics. Remember, we review the latest blogs related to the brain and mind that go beyond the basic sciences into a more human and multidimensional perspective. If you were left out, just leave a comment with your relevant blog entry. You can check our archive for all previously publi, technorati.com

Hack Your Brain with an iPod at Forever Geek

1 Citation
the idea is that you can modify the electrical activity in your brain (the stuff that's picked up by EEG readings) by hearing sounds that mimic those waves, blogmarks.net

Theoretical Neuroscience - RedwoodCenter

1 Citation
It is often said that "neuroscience is data-rich yet theory-poor." Our aim is to supply useful algorithms and theoretical ideas to neuroscience in order * to provide new forms of analysis for neural data (spike trains, EEG, MRI), * to provide theories and, blogmarks.net

EEGLAB - Open Source Matlab Toolbox for Psychophysiological Research

1 Citation
EEGLAB is an interactive Matlab toolbox for processing continuous and event-related EEG, MEG and other electrophysiological data using independent component analysis (ICA), time/frequency analysis, and other methods including artifact rejection. EEGLAB in, blogmarks.net
