I am trying to complete current WIPs and UFOs, but I?m SO tempted to cast on some new socks, because I?ve gotten some great stuff (Woolgirl kits, anyone???) lately. Oh well. 1 Citation CELERY SCARF This is the secret project i was working in May for my swap partner. For the record i was into Green Swap on Australian Swappers Group on Rav. Now that it reached my spoilee i want to brag about it . It is my almost ?Sheep to Cloth? project except that i didn?t shear the sheep and didn?t card/comb the fibre ; I spun the yarn, dyed it and finally wove it into a scarf. Sie ist recht dünn und trotz Rundstricknadeln, mit denen ich fester stricke, ist mir leider kein gleichmäßiges Maschenbild gelungen. Aber vielleicht gibt sich das ja nach der ersten Wäsche. 1 Citation The week after school let out, Kent and I went to Ubud, Bali. We stayed at Ketut?s Place . Our room had a huge lovely balcony that reached out over a steep ravine and a rushing river. I spent each morning out there knitting. It was bliss. On that balcony, I finished my purple Lacy Mock Cable socks . They are knit in Cherry Tree Hill Supersock Solids in the amethyst colorway. Honestly, I have been wearing it more than him. : ) I used the Raglan pattern in the Knitter?s Handy Book of Sweater Patterns, adding 3×2 ribbing under the arms, around the waist, and at the wrists. Fiz esta camisola, inspirada num modelo do catálogo Phildar 486 ? Primavera/Verão 2008. O modelo original era uma túnica com cinto, tricotado em agulhas 6 mm. Adaptei o modelo para um fio antigo que eu tinha da Phildar, um fio tipo fitilho, o Copacabana. Ao tricotar, este fio tem relevo e parece ter volume, mas, assim que se lava, fica muito mais fininho.
