1 Citation Almond Macaroons Almond Macaroons Ingredients : 3 egg white 250g ground almonds 250g icing sugar one pinch of cinnamon small round baking wafers ("eating papers") 200g glaced cherries Almond Macaroons Instructions : Beat egg white until frothy. Mix almonds, icing sugar and cinnamon and add by the spoonful. With two teaspoons form macarons and put on baking wafers. Then decorate with glace cherries. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 275 F. I understand that most of these locations do indeed possess charm: discreet, bourgeois or otherwise. However I can?t help but feel as though I?m selling out or giving in if I (shock horror) pay a visit to one of these places or (gasp!) admit to enjoying it.
