Stir-fried Wood Ears with Cucumber 1 Citation Cucumber stir-fries have always been my favorite, particularly in summer. The freshness and crispiness combined with cooling juiciness - yums. Touched with chilies and garlic, how can you resist. Now before I get too carried away with adjectives, let me introduce you one of my favorite summer side dishes. Just a small note: In my kitchen Chinese food is often times unmeasurable. It is more of a splash of this and handful of that, rather than cups and grams. Feel free to adjust the quantities to, technorati.com

Rosie Makes Stuffed Artichokes And A Shrimp/Bok Choy Stir Fry. 1 Citation Last month, I made some terrific stuffed artichokes . Of course, the artichokes I had last month were nothing less than spectacular. For those of you who missed that post, I'm making the stuffed artichokes again. Sadly, my artichokes aren't anywhere near the size as the ones I found before; and for stuffing, use the largest artichokes you can find. Stuffing ingredients: tomato scallions garlic lemon zest parsley basil mint toasted bread (not shown) pink peppercorns (not shown), technorati.com

1 Citation I miss the proper Indian mee goreng that you get in Malaysia and Singapore. It?s always spicy and rich and just bursting with flavours. Most of the mee goreng you get in here in Melbourne is just not spicy enough. There needs to be that element of dried spices: chilli powder and tumeric. And sometimes they get it so red, it?s scary! I can?t say I have successfully replicated the real Indian mee goreng yet. In fact, it tastes just like most mee goreng you get at restaurants here in Australia. B, technorati.com

1 Citation Offal-ly good: Spicy Gizzard & Bell Pepper Stir-fry A picture is worth a thousand words - or so we've been told. Indeed, a picture is chock full of information, with each brushstroke, pencil mark or pixel communicating different details that together form a complete story, all absorbed with just one glance. Compact, concise and convenient - what need do we have for interminable words? But consider, for a moment, a tangled point of view: that a single word is worth a thousand, technorati.com
