By JEREMY LOOME, EDMONTON SUN ?Unfair? environmental criticism that is mounting in the U.S. against the oilsands could cause an uncertain economic future for Alberta, Finance Minister Iris Evans said yesterday. Evans said she won?t predict the double-digit multibillion-dollar surplus many expect here next year due to high oil prices, noting the province is waging political war against anti-dirty oil legislation in the U.S. that could impact its ability to develop an oilsands-based economy., technorati.com

AN EXAMPLE OF HOW GOVERNMENT DOESN'T KNOW ANY MORE THAN WE DO

1 Citation
I'm constantly amused by those who think transferring a function to government will somehow convert the function into being "better". For example, many think that health care should be nationalized, or that the oil companies should be nationalized--as if putting health care or oil production into the hands of a person wearing a "government" hat rather than a "private enterprise" hat will somehow make delivery of services "better". Truth be told, the folks who work in government ent, technorati.com

Praeger encouraged Kansans to use a digital or video camera to provide visual coverage of their items. For example, she suggested having famil, technorati.com
