I was last at this naturally-dyed-yarn-mecca in 2007, when I bought Shetland aran in two wonderful muted shades, and made this sweater (rav link), a garment of which I am inordinately fond. 1 Citation I ordered some carbonized black diamond bamboo fiber from Cotton Clouds and it came yesterday! I?ve been so busy I haven?t been able to spin any yet?but it sure is soft & shiny! I missed spinning on Day 3 of the Tour de Fleece, but today I already spun a little on my spindle and intend to spin on my Baynes as well. I?m in the middle of at least three different spinning projects on my Baynes, so I?m not sure if I will get to the bamboo today, or keep on the BFL or spin some of the merin, technorati.com

1 Citation I have a little nest. I?ve been sitting in my nest for days now, not moving much. I came down with Shingles at the end of last week, and while I am not overwhelmingly sick, I am not allowed out and about much. I could apparently give everyone Chicken Pox (or at least those who haven?t had them yet? and you never know when you?re out in public!) I am experiencing tender, sensitive skin around my waist on the left side, and I have a really strange rash on my back. Good news- the rash is drying up,, technorati.com

1 Citation The Before photo The farmers sheep has been cut nekkid (lol) now while we?re here. It was a new guy clipping them, earlier it has been a woman actually. This guy was faster than the former clipper, he had another technique - which he had learned in England somewhere. It did look so easy when he tipped - and clipped them. I am making up for the weekend apparently!TdF has been going very well, I?ve not missed a goal and have exceeded them daily. This is cutting into knitting time, but I am not minding overly much.I finished this 4oz of falkland wool, 2 ply, light fingering weight, 330 yards.
