Hello, Twitter | stopdesign

1 Citation
Yes, it?s true. After reading a bit of speculation over the past few weeks, I?ll confirm here that I am, indeed, joining Twitter. I don?t remember ever being as eager or excited to start a new job as I?ve been with this one. (Thus, why I only took one week off between jobs.) Over the past year, I spoke with several organizations about coming on board to lead a design team. But Twitter felt the like most natural fit from the very start of my talks with the team. It?s still early in Twitter?s history. The company is small. Its user base is growing rapidly. And I see lots of potential to directly impact and to help shape the Twitter brand., blogmarks.net

MixTape.me | make and listen to mixtapes (music playlists)

1 Citation
Similar to Seeqpod, Mixtape.me "grabs music from around the web, notably from Seeqpod, and does a great job of letting you make and browse playlists in an environment reminiscent of desktop music players. You don't need an account to create a Quick Playlist on mixtape.me. You can just start adding tracks from searches and other people's playlists. Registering an account lets you add (but not upload) mp3s and save your playlists. There are also a lot of extra touches, like grabbing song info, lyrics and album artwork automatically. You can also share your playlists easily, even with friends who aren't signed up with Mixtape.me." , blogmarks.net
